The Shop Productivity Manager is a powerful tool that gives businesses the ability to log, track and compare operator productivity, manufactured part efficiency and individual machining cell efficiency on their shop floor. Machine operators simply input their daily part manufacturing information such as part setup time, manufacturing cycle times and part change time into the module. This recorded data is then presented in an easy to read graphical graph that gives shop floor supervisors the necessary information to quickly browse and compare operator, part and machine cell productivity for their manufacturing business. The Shop Productivity Manager is included as part of Shop Floor Tools™.


Input Operator Machine Times

In order to calculate efficiency reports, operators must first input their machining times. This is done through the shop productivity operator panel. Operators open a new day through the date explorer, and then drag the necessary operations over for their part. The specific information can then be entered for each machining operation.

Track the efficiency of each machine operator in your business for any given number of days. Operators simply log in using the Time Management module to record their daily hours. Then, after inputting their daily machine operation times, Manufacturing Pro will display the corresponding graph efficiency chart corresponding to each user.

Track Part Efficiency

The part efficiency reports allow supervisors to monitor the efficiency of individual manufactured parts. This is achieved by comparing the estimated and actual manufacturing times for each part. Like the operator and machine efficiency reports, users can choose and select multiple parts for each generated report.
