Is Manufacturing Pro a total ERP/PLM replacement?

Simply put, no.

Manufacturing Pro was principally designed for mid-size manufacturers that don’t need the additional accounting and sales management features associated with costly ERP & PLM software packages. Instead, Manufacturing Pro focuses on the MRP (Material Resource Planning) features needed for today’s manufacturers. Tools such as bill of materials management, inventory control, part allocation management, manufactured part costing and shop floor production management are all native to Manufacturing Pro.

Is Manufacturing Pro right for my business?

Manufacturing Pro is designed for manufacturing businesses looking to improve productivity and increase efficiency for their manufacturing workflow. Our software is not designed for businesses needing total ERP software features. MFG BOM Tools™

Designed for managing bill of materials, real-time part inventory control, production job orders and part allocation management. Businesses using third party accounting software such as BusinessVision, Peach Tree or QuickBooks, can easily sync pricing data between the two platforms.

MFG Shop Floor Tools™

Designed to calculate in house manufactured part costing. Users can define part properties such as material type, complexity and finishes. MFG Shop Floor Tools™ can also track productivity for individual operators and machining cells within your plant.

MFG Service Tools™

Designed to manage service job orders for your service staff. Users can create and assign custom service tasks for each customer as well as log phone times for over the phone customer support.
